Welcome to Memorable Art

These artworks are by Esther Schlorholtz, who creates card art that expresses her love of color and strives to evoke delight. Her art is handmade and rooted in her imagination. After a lengthy career in community development, she is now fulfilling another of her passions through art. Esther was raised in South Asia, and traveled extensively, making her childhood a rich tapestry of people and places. Her childhood experiences of the kaleidoscope of colors, textures and sensations in Lahore's Old City bazaars particularly sparked her artistry. She loved that customers who pointed out imperfections in the enticing wares were often gently reminded by the shopkeepers, with head tilting and hands uplifted, “Handmade, madam, handmade." These creations are offered in that same spirit. Esther is co-owner of Remember Productions and is pleased to share her art.
