About Remember Productions
Remember Productions is led by Joe Hunter, an award-winning, Boston-based producer whose historical documentaries have been widely recognized. He is known for his fluid story telling that weaves images, music and interviews into a compelling whole that appeals to both the heart and the head. His career in communications has included stints as a broadcast reporter, communication director, free-lance writer, producer and consultant.
His considerable expertise in video production and editing, combined with his communication skills, storytelling ability and interest in music, has garnered numerous awards, including several First Place awards in the Documentary Profile category from the Alliance for Community Media and Best in Show from NewTV, the City of Newton’s cable access station.
The history of freedom was written by immigrants who came to America, by people who settled and cultivated the land and worked in the factories, and by the people who fought in our wars: in other words, by our ancestors. The goal of Remember Productions is to help people rediscover their roots and face the future with new perspective and insight.
